Berkeley Bike Station Evening Bash

Now that we got the formal Grand Opening out of the way, it's time for a serious party! Bike-dork cult classics "Rad" and "American Flyers" will be playing at the Berkeley Bike Station, along with adult beverages and many prizes. We'll then shoot next door to watch "Inception," starring hottie Leonardo DiCaprio. And get this... first 100 to RSVP at jim@alamedabicycle.com pay only $3.

Family Rides

Usually the 1st Sunday of most months
from 10am - 12pm


Open for kids of all ages. Take a slow cruise with us around Alameda, a different route every time, and end at Tucker's Ice Cream for free ice-cream. We'll split up into two groups to ensure the proper pace for everyone, helmets required.

Ride on 2 Wheels

Usually the 2nd Sunday of most months
from 10am - 12pm


We'll help you get off training wheels, or learn how to ride a bicycle for the first time. Bring your bike, helmet, and a dash of courage — we'll provide the rest.

Our free clinic is a perennial favorite! Bring your bike or wheel and we'll provide the tools and education to increase your confidence in changing a flat tire.
Alameda Mountain Missions

Beginner Ride, Sunday Aug 15, 9am - 12pm

For novice mountain bikers and those that haven't picked up their bike in a while. We'll have two ride guides that'll demonstrate riding tips to improve your handling, descending, climbing, and help you ride safer faster. We leave strictly at 9:20, so please arrive by 9am at Alameda Bicycle with your own mode of transportation (we'll go to Joaquin Miller ranger station parking lot).

Intermediate Ride, Sunday Aug 22, 9am - ?, (Location TBD)

Okay, let's dust off those mountain bikes and enjoy a serious off-road journey. And we'll have two ride guides to ensure none of you get lost in the woods. This is for intermediate and above riders only. We leave strictly at 9:20, so please arrive by 9am at Alameda Bicycle with your own mode of transportation.
