The Roubaix got a full redesign in 2017, and the 2018 frame is identical. The Roubaix Comp keeps the Ultegra drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with thru axles. The Roubaix frame has 20mm of suspension in the headtube, called the Future Shock, designed to improve both smoothness and speed at the same time – if you don’t have to slow down when you hit a bump, you’re going faster. There’s a little extra flex in the seat tube due to the position of the clamp, and the CG-R seatpost. If you’re looking for a bike that is packed with performance and all day comfort, well, we’d recommend that you look here.
For 2018, the Comp has Roval wheels, and a paint job that needs to be seen to be believed. This color is special! They call it "Sunset Chameleon" and depending on your angle and the ambient light, it looks anywhere from black to red to purple to brown. We're happy to roll it out into the sunshine for you.
For 2019, the Comp has DT Swiss rims and an Ultegra Crankset. The green chameleon paint is nuts - this picture won't do it justice. We have a few of each left. Come take a look!
